I had a local order of cookies not too long ago. About a week later I got a text (the order was for a friend of a friend) asking if I could do cookie favors for her sisters wedding. A couple of days later I get a phone call, we discuss the options. Some emails are exchanged with flavors and design possibilities. A few weeks later these baby’s were created.
These were a ton of fun to make. It was definitely time consuming, but I loved how they turned out and just wish I had thought of it for my own wedding. Unfortunately, I was not on pinterest at the time of my wedding. My sister has no idea how awesome her’s is going to be one day (you’re welcome Erum).
The groom to be turned out to be a graphic designer who had created this awesome graphic for the rest of their wedding theming and decor, so we decided to use it on the favors as well. It worked perfectly and they looked real elegant. The cookies were placed in 4×6 treat bags and the cards were printed on 4×6 photo paper. After carefully placing the cookies in the bag, I folded over some of the plastic and stapled it shut to keep it airtight before folding the cards over and stapling them on to the cookie bags.
The bride was told that the favorite from the assortment her sister received was our signature ‘Nocciola spread stuffed chocolate chip cookies’, so that’s what she wanted for her order. I made a couple of sample cookies for her to try beforehand just so she knew what she was signing up for. If you know anyone in the Southern California area with a wedding coming up and think these would be a good fit, contact us firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d love to work with you!
